Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 4, 2026

Saciva Events LLC ("Saciva Events," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Saciva Events website, our mobile applications for clients, guests, vendors, and staff, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

We plan and manage offline events, including weddings, birthdays, celebrations, and other private or organized events. Our Services let clients, their guests and representatives, vendors, and our team view and collaborate on event information and provide digital event experiences and summaries.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us, information we receive from sign-in providers and from other users, and information collected automatically when you use our Services.

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
  • Event information, such as event details, schedules, tasks, guest-related details, your relationship to an event (for example, "Bride" or "Friend"), and other planning information
  • Content you upload or share, such as photos, videos, documents, messages, and comments
  • Vendor business information, such as business name, contact details, location, services offered, and the team members associated with the business
  • Event enquiries submitted through our website, such as event type, date, venue, city, estimated guest count, budget, planning preferences, and how you heard about us
  • Job applications submitted through our careers page, such as your resume, education, experience, location, and work preferences
  • Contracts and signatures, where we use electronic agreements, such as the parties' names, contact details, agreement terms, and electronic signatures and related signing records
  • Communications you send us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or through the Services
  • Other information you choose to provide

Information from Sign-In Providers

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive information from that provider with your permission:

  • Google: your Google account identifier, name, email address, whether your email address is verified, and profile photo
  • Apple:your Apple account identifier, your name (only the first time you sign in, if you choose to share it), and either your email address or, if you choose Apple's "Hide My Email," a private relay address that forwards to your email. We also keep an encrypted token issued by Apple so that we can revoke our access when you delete your account or disconnect Apple.

We do not receive your Google or Apple password. If you do not provide a profile photo, we display a default image based on the first letter of your name or email address.

Information from Other Users

Other people may provide information about you, for example when:

  • An event organizer, client, or our team invites you to an event. They provide your email address, the event, the level of access you receive, and optionally your relationship to the event.
  • A vendor business owner or our team invites you to join a vendor business and assigns your role in it
  • Event organizers or other authorized participants add event content that includes you, such as photos or guest-related details

Information Collected Automatically

When you access our website or use our applications, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address
  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and version
  • Browser type and version
  • App, app version, and platform (iOS, Android, or web)
  • Device and application identifiers
  • Approximate geographic information, such as country derived from an IP address
  • Pages, screens, and features accessed
  • App interactions and usage activity
  • Session information
  • Network and performance information
  • Crash and diagnostic information
  • Date and time of activity

We also keep sign-in and security records, such as sign-in attempts and their outcome, the sign-in method used, the email address entered, IP address, approximate country, device and app information, and the date and time. We use these to protect accounts and detect misuse.

We determine approximate country using the MaxMind GeoLite2 database, which runs on our own servers. Your IP address is not sent to MaxMind for this purpose.

2. Accounts and Sign-In

We do not use passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with your Google or Apple account. Sign-in codes expire after a short time and can be used only once. We store them only in a protected form that cannot be read back.

If you sign in using different methods that share the same verified email address, we may connect them to a single account. One account may have more than one role. For example, a vendor may also be a client for their own event.

We use account information to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Authenticate your access to the Services
  • Provide access to the events and businesses you are invited to
  • Communicate important information about your account or the Services
  • Provide customer support
  • Protect the security and integrity of our Services
  • Detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, or abuse

Because access to your email account, or to your Google or Apple account, gives access to your Saciva Events account, please keep those accounts and your devices secure. Notify us at info@sacivaevents.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Event Content

Depending on the event and the services requested by an event organizer or client, the Services may display event-related information, media, updates, or other content.

Event content is visible to the people who have been given access to that event, according to their access level. For example, a guest may see the schedule but not pricing. Some event content may be provided to us by the event organizer, client, their representatives, vendors, or other authorized parties.

If you have questions or concerns regarding personal information or content relating to a particular event, contact us at info@sacivaevents.com.

4. Analytics and Firebase Services

We use Google Analytics, services provided through Google Firebase, and, where we use it, Mixpanel product analytics to operate, understand, monitor, and improve our website and mobile applications.

These services may automatically collect certain device, usage, diagnostic, and technical information.

Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, and Mixpanel

With these features, Google may associate usage information from our website and applications with Google accounts of users who have enabled ads personalization with Google. This information may be used to provide cross-device reporting and demographic and interest insights, to measure our marketing, and to show you ads, including Saciva Events ads, on other websites and apps.

You can limit this in several ways:

  • Manage ads personalization in your Google account ad settings
  • Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
  • Use your device settings to limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier, and, on iOS, decline tracking when the app asks
  • Use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or make a request as described in Section 11

Performance information may include:

  • App startup and response times
  • Screen rendering performance
  • Network request performance
  • App version
  • Device and operating system information
  • Network information
  • Application and installation identifiers
  • General performance metrics

This information helps us identify performance issues and improve the speed and reliability of our Services.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications and other application messages.

Firebase Cloud Messaging uses device or application installation identifiers and messaging tokens to deliver notifications to your device.

Google and Firebase

Google processes certain information in connection with these services in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices. Information processed through Firebase services may be processed using Google's infrastructure in various locations around the world. 7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We use service providers that process information on our behalf to help us operate the Services. Depending on the feature, these include:

  • Amazon Web Services: cloud hosting, databases, file and image storage, and email delivery, including sign-in codes and invitations
  • Google and Firebase: analytics, advertising features, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and push notifications
  • Google and Apple: sign-in, when you choose to sign in with them
  • Mixpanel: product analytics, where we use it
  • SignWell: preparing and electronically signing contracts, where we use it
  • Messaging providers: sending SMS or WhatsApp messages, where we offer them, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us through WhatsApp
  • Payment processors: processing payments, if we offer online payments. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Other hosting, security, and technical service providers

Other Users of the Services

Some information is visible to other people as part of how the Services work:

  • People with access to the same event may see your name, profile photo, relationship to the event, and the content you share there
  • Members of a vendor business may see each other's names and roles. Vendors working on an event may see the event information they need to provide their services.
  • People who invite you can see whether their invitation was accepted

Event Organizers, Clients, and Vendors

Where necessary to plan and deliver an event, information may be shared with the event organizer, client, their authorized representatives, and the vendors providing services for that event. The information involved depends on the nature of the event and the services being provided.

Advertising Partners

Through the Google advertising features described in Section 4, Google receives device identifiers, usage information, and approximate location from our website and applications and may use them for advertising. Under some U.S. state laws this may be considered "targeted advertising," or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 11.

Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws or regulations
  • Respond to valid legal processes or governmental requests
  • Protect our rights, property, or Services
  • Protect the safety of our users or others
  • Investigate fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity
  • Enforce our agreements or policies

Business Transactions

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

With Your Consent or Direction

We may disclose information when you request, authorize, or consent to the disclosure.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. The length of time depends on:

  • The type of information
  • The purpose for which it was collected
  • Whether you maintain an account with us
  • Operational and security requirements
  • Contractual, accounting, and tax requirements
  • Applicable legal obligations
  • The need to resolve disputes or enforce agreements

For example:

  • Sign-in codes expire within minutes and cannot be reused
  • Sign-in and security records are kept for as long as needed to protect accounts and investigate misuse
  • Event, contract, and financial records may be kept after an event, or after an account is deleted, where needed for business, legal, or tax purposes
  • Event enquiries and job applications are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond and for our records

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law. Third-party services we use may maintain their own retention practices for information processed through their services.

9. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your Saciva Events account at any time:

  • In the app: open your account settings and choose the option to delete your account
  • By email: send a request from the email address associated with your account to info@sacivaevents.com with the subject "Delete my account". We may need to verify your identity before processing it.

When your account is deleted:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are removed from your account, and the account is marked as deleted
  • Your access to all events and vendor businesses is removed, and every role on the account ends
  • You are signed out on all devices
  • Your Google and Apple sign-in connections are removed, and we revoke our access with Apple
  • Your devices stop receiving push notifications

Some information is kept in anonymized or limited form. This includes event, contract, business, and financial records that referred to you, which remain linked to an anonymous "Deleted User" rather than to your identity, and a record that your deletion request was received and completed. Content you shared in an event may remain part of that event's records; contact us if you would like it removed. Information in backups is deleted as backups are routinely replaced.

Deleting your account does not cancel any separate agreement for event services. Contact us about those directly.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls based on roles, single-use sign-in codes, and encryption of sensitive tokens.

However, no method of transmitting information over the Internet, mobile network, or electronic storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information
  • Obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format

  • We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Our use of Google advertising features (Section 4) may be considered targeted advertising or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out by emailing info@sacivaevents.comwith the subject "Opt Out of Targeted Advertising", or by using a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we treat as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
  • We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

How to Make a Request

You can update certain information in your account. To make any other privacy request, contact us at info@sacivaevents.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law.

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing info@sacivaevents.comwith the subject "Privacy Appeal". We will respond to your appeal within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

12. Emails and Push Notifications

We send service-related emails, such as sign-in codes, invitations, event updates, and account and security notices. These are necessary to provide the Services. If we send marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in those messages.

Our applications may send push notifications relating to events, account activity, updates, or other aspects of the Services. You can disable or manage push notifications in your device settings. Disabling push notifications does not prevent you from using other features of the Services, although you may not receive certain timely updates.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

Because our Services may relate to family events, weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations, event-related content may in some circumstances include information or media involving minors that has been provided by an event organizer, client, parent, guardian, or other authorized party.

If you believe that personal information relating to a child has been collected or displayed improperly, please contact us at info@sacivaevents.com so that we can review the matter.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may contain links to, integrate with, or otherwise interact with third-party websites, applications, and services, such as Google and Apple sign-in. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party services that we do not control. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

15. International Data Processing

Saciva Events LLC is based in the United States, and we use service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries.

If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to or processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps relating to such processing and transfers.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technologies, business practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by email.
